New articles

  • Legends: Jessye Norman
  • Saimir Pirgu: Opera should be enjoyed live and in the theatre in order to have a fall grasp of its essence. In my opinion, microphones and streaming are not the future of opera.
  • Conductors of the future: Sieva Borzak
  • Kasper Holten: You can’t be anyone but yourself, so try to work hard to be the best version of yourself possible.
  • Riccardo Fassi: I think social media is sadly not impactful enough on the young generations that are the main users of these platforms. It became a fanbase service but it doesn’t serve the purpose of attracting people to the theatre, especially because opera, differently from pop music, is exclusively an acoustic form of art meaning that it can’t seduce for real in a digital context.
